CANTERBURY KENNEL CLUB.
MEMBERS PARADE. The first parade of the new season was held by members of the Canterbury Kennel Club last evening in Tatter sail's building. There was a good attendance of spectators and exhibitors. Three classes open to all breeds —puppy, novice, and open—were provided. The general quality and condition of the exhibits were excellent, and showed that breeders were continuing along sound lines. The veteran judge, Mr W. C. Leversedge, took all breeds, while Mr R. G. White acted as judge's steward. At the conclusion of the parade the president of the club (Dr. W. M. Cotter) presented certificates to the winners and congratulated the exhibitors in general. The judge also spoke remarking that although he could only award one first prize in each class, there were many dogs of equal merit. Results: — Puppy Class—G. and F. E.
