ACCOUNTANTS' SOCIETY.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Society of Accountants, the following were admitted to membership by virtue of having passed the necessary examinations:—Messrs J. R. Alderson (Dargaville), W. J. C. Patterson (Otorohariga), M. R. Peace, W.' J. Pulman (Auckland), A. F. Lee (Napier), G. H. L. Davies (Nelson), H. S. Fanning (Wellington), N. E. Dalmer, E. Standring, M. D. Watts (Christchurch), G. R. Lee (Timaru), J. H. Gilkison, J. J. Hall, W. P. Wellington (Dunedin), A. J. Neil (Invercargill), and Miss A. M. Tietjens (Hamilton). Messrs R. J. H. Seal, o£ Hamilton, and F, Cooke, of Balclutha, were classified as associate public accountants. ■ , Mr R. T. Tosswill, of Christchurch, who is proceeding to England, advised that he would be attending the International Congress of. Accounting to be held In , London during July. Particulars were supplied by the Victoria University College of the proposed establishment of accountancy tuition classes at ine university. Meetings of members are to be held shortly in the various centres to discuss the society's application for a royal charter.
