INVASION OF CHINA.
DEFENDING TROOPS WITHDRAW. JAPANESE ON ATTACK. (Received April 19, 10.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, April 19. According to Japanese reports, all Chinese troops in the Shanhaikwan area have now been withdrawn south of the Luan river. Aeroplanes visited Luauchow, bombing various parts of the city, and other machines circled over where there are important mines, owned by British interests They dropped handbills but no bombs.
