REDUCTION PREDICTED. WASHINGTON, April 7. The prediction that the sun will be colder for the next two years, with the possibility that the earth will be affected in a way as yet unknown, was issued to-day by Dr. Charles G. Abbott, secretary of the Smithsonian Institute. Dr. Abbott already has had some successes in predicting the sun's weather.
