S.- Neville) - wrote advising that the Waterworks • Committee of the Christchurch City Council had considered the representa- -• tions of the „ association relating 'to water meters and, was of the -opinion that the suggestion that householders be given keys for their meters was an acceptable one provided that the householders paid for the keys and gave an undertaking to be responsible "- for damage to the meter. The commit-' tee did not consider it advisable to have the meters plfeced inside' houses. ■'.
