——♦ OPERATIONS TO RESUME IN DUNEDIN. (FRCSB ASSOCIATION TBLKOBAW.) DUNEDIN", March 15. ' At a large and enthusiastic publi* meeting, convened- by the Listeners* League, this evening, the following resolutions were passed:— '' (a) That this meeting of listeners appeals to B stations to resume broadcasting immediately, without, if possible, antagonising the gramophone companies. "(b) That this meeting of listeners urges the Government to give immediate consideration to the framing of regulations permitting B stations to earn sufficient revenue to carry on operations; this revenue to be obtained by means of programmes including not more than 15 minutes of sponsored advertising, thus making B stations self-supporting., "(c) That this meeting, having "been informed that the Broadcasting Board has acquired, or proposes to acquire, the sole rights for the use of certain records for broadcasting purposes, emphatically protests against any such monopoly." . • B station proprietors present told th« meeting at the conclusion that they had decided to resume broadcasting on Thursday.
