VASES LEFT TO KING OF ENGLAND. » " LONDON, January 10. The will of King Manoel 11. of Portugal, of Fulwell Park, Twickenham, has been proved at Somerset House. He left English property valued at £20,447, net personalty nil. The will stated:— I bequeath to his Majesty King George" the Fifth of England, in testimony of profound, gratitude for all his Idiidneew and friendship, the two large vases of lacquer with the Boyal Arms of Portugal, which arc at present in the dining-room at Fulwell Park, and I venture to ask his Majesty the King to be so kind as to use hia influence that my last wishes may be fulfilled. He gave £4OOO to his mother, Queen * Amelia, and the use for life of effects of the value of £4OOO, and the remainder of his securities and cash at Coutts and Company, Limited, to his wife, Queen Augusta Victoria, to whom he also left all money, securities, or .debts due t(} him in Portugal. Other bequests comprised: His oceanographical collection at the Museum of Oceanography, Lisbon, to La Liga Portugueza at Lisbon, provided such museum be called by the name of his father, King Carlos I. And, subject to his wife's interest, his collections in Portugal for a museum to be called the Museum of the House ; 'of Braganza, "for the benefit of my beloved country, Portugal."
