PLAZA THEATRE.
" A BILL OF DIVORCEMENT." It is probable that few mora dramatic and LoUcr-ocled films will be seen this year than "A Bill of Divorcement," the R.K.O. screen version of Clemence Dane's famous play, •which will start to day at the Plaza Theatre, it is a milestone in a season which has produced many exceptional pictures. There are two great names in the cast, and another that is destined to become great. Tho two names already known aro those of Billia Burks and John Barryniore; and tho third, 88 yet unknown, is Katharine Hopburn. John Barrymore is at his best, playing one of tho most difficult roles of his career_ with a superb certainty and a dazzling variation of shading. Billie Burko has a lifetime of acting experience, and Elizabeth Patterson, David Manners, Faul Covanagh, and Henry Stephenson are skilled players. Miss Hepburn not only holds her own with them, but sho displays in every gesture, inflection, and movement the unmistafceablo innate gift of expression that distinguishes tho great actor or actress from the merely good ono.
