WAKAKURA AT LYTTELTON. The mine-sweeper Wakakura arrived at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon from Dunedin, viii Akaroa. She brought to Lyttelton 16 ratings from the Dunedin R.N.V.R., in charge of Sub-Lieutenant C. Lindsay. The party .will return to Dunedin by this morning's express. The Wakakura will embark to-day the first of five parties from the Christchurch R.N.V.R. for sea training, and will sail for Alcaroa, returning on Friday. She will remain in port a week, and will then take two more parties on successive weeks. ' After a further week's spell in port the Wakakura will make two further trips to Akaroa, and is to sail finally from Lyttelton about April 22 for Wellington. Commissioned-Gunner T. JG. The Port Pine left Port Kembla on Wednesday afternoon for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow. The Wainui. which left Melbourne on Wednesday for New Zealand, has included in her cargo transhipments from the following vessels:—Kamo Maru. Esquilino, Otranto, Thermopylae, and Maloja. CAMBRIDGE TO LOAD. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Cambridge will commence loading at Port Chalmers about March 10, and will complete at Lyttelton, Napier, Auckland, Wanganui, and Wellington. She is to leave Wellington on March 31 for Halifax, Southampton, and London, via Panama and Curacao. RANGITANE AT COLON. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Itangitane, en route from don to Wellington and Auckland, arrived at Colon on Wednesday last. She ig due at Wellington on March 15.
