INVESTITURE HELD. MEDALS FOR POLAR EXPLORATION. omcui. wibeliss.) (Received February 24, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, February 23. The King held a second investiture at Buckingham Palace to-day. Among the recipients of honours were five minora, who received recognition for their bravery at the Bentley colliery disaster. The King also handed to Colonel Watkins the Polar Medal awarded to his son, Mr H. 0. Watkins, the leader of the British Arctic Air Route Expedition, who was drowned last year in Greenland. Mr A. Courtauld was also decorated with the Polar Medal.
