Th» Holmfllen is to load here to-morrow for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth,-, and Waikato. The ATexander i> due to-morrow from Tarakohe. She will load here for KeUon and nearby bays, also for Westport and Grey mouth. The Government steamer Matai, which arrived in Wellington on Tuesday from an inspection of Cook Strait lighthouses, "will leave.on Tuesday nest for the north. She expects to be away about five weeks. The Wingatui is to sail from Lyttelton to-doy for' Auckland direct, talcing a large cargo of grain. She is due back from Auckland, via Wellington, on March 7, and is to sail the same day for Duncdin and Timaru. THE PASSAT TO LOAD WHEAT. The Finnish four-masted barque Passat, which arrived at Auckland from Seychelles Islands, in the Indian Ocean, on February 7, with a cargo of guano, was expected to sail for AVallaroo, South Australia, on Wednesday. The barque will load wheat for London at Wallaroo and Port Bronghton. ESPERANCE BAY'S PASSENGERS. Passengers bound for New Zealand by the EBpeTance Bay, which is due in Australia tomorrow, include the following:—For Wellington: Mrs E. S. Riddell, Mrs 0. Bruce, Mr and Mrs H. Freemantle and infant. Tho Port Brisbane, which loft Port Chalmers on January 10 for London, via Capo Horn and St. A'incent, arrived at London on Sunday. WAIKOUAITI TO RETURN TO LYTTELTON. The Union Company's steamer AVaikouaiti, which left Lyttelton on AVedncsday for Oamaru, will proceed to Port Chalmers, where she will undergo survey. She is to leave Dunodiu on AVednesday for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Bluff, and will loavo Bluff on March C for Sydney and Newcastle. N.Z. SHIPPING CO. / The Xew Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rangitane will commence her loading during discharge at Auckland about March 23. Sho will complete at Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Lyttelton, and AVellington. The Rangitane is scheduled to clear Wellington finally about April 13 for London, via Panama. The Huntingdon is due at Opua about March 30 to commence Homeward loading. She will complete at Auckland, Gisborne, Muff, and Wellington. The vessel is scheduled to leave AVellington finally about April 22 for London, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, aud Dakar. « LABURNUM ARRIVES. The sloop Laburnum arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Timaru and berthed at No. 3 oast. On her present cruise the Laburnum, after leaving Auckland, called at Napier, Dunedin, ' and Timaru. Sho will leave Lyttelton on March 8 for Akaroa, •where she will Join the Veronica. The crews of the two sloops will hold a regatta in Akarou. harbour about March 10, intership races arid competitions being held. A.fter leaving Akaroa the Veronica and tho Laburnum will proceed to Wellington for annual musketry course. The Laburnum will later proceed to Picton. thence Auckland. Tho mine-sweeper Wakakura is dua at Lyttelton to-day from Dunedin.
