SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. Miss Molly Collins (Elizabeth street) is on a Visit to Dunedin. Mr and Mrs J. A. Mullins (Orbell street) kavo returned from a visit to Mrs Wilfred Howell (Cave). Mrs J. Wyn-Irwin (Christchurch), who was a guest at the Balmoral Hotel, has returned home. Miss Hope Pinckney ("Glonaray," Southland) is the guest of Miss Peggy Unwin (Church street). Miss Peggy Fisher (Christchurch), who has been staying with Mrs M. J. Burdon (Woodbury), will return north to-day. Mrs Lysnght (Tauranga), who is staying with Mrs A. C. Wigley (Opuha Lodge, Park lane), left for the north yesterday. Mrs I>. C. Maefarlano (Waiau), who has been tho guest of Mrs J. C. Millar (Woodbury), will arrive to-day to stay with Mss O. H. Cossins ("Ardnnquere,'' "'Wai-iti road). Latest visitors at the Empire include Mr and Mrs T. H. Paton (Sydney), Mr 11. M. Mackay (Dunedin), Mr S. W. Cooper, Mr and Mrs K. Blackley,' and Mr S. W. Bradley (Christchurch). Keeent guests at the Crosvenor Hojtel include Mr and Mrs F. C. White (New South Wales), Mr and Mrs L. G. Holthouse, Mrs M. Clark, and Messrs .Toh'n Balmer,. H. Percial, E..J. Mandel, F. Myers, W. Luke (Wellington); W. J. Douglas (London), J l . Brandt, H. Anderson, J.. Suckling, H. Clark, E. Comyns, N. R, Wilson, and Mr and Mrs H. Bourke (Christchurch), Messrs D.
