The age-old Hindu-Moslem religious antagonism has exacted heavy toll in India in the last two years, according to ft statement made in the central legislature, showing that the total riot casualties in 1931 were 353 killed and 1740 injured. In 1932, 323 were killed and 2035 injured, principally in Bombay and the Central .Provinces.
