REGENT THEATRE.

" SMILING THROUGH." Norma Shearer achieves ft now triumph in "Smiling Through," which opened at tho Regent Theatre on Saturday. She id particularly appealing in the scenes -where she appears as the Victorian bride. The acting throughout is ot a high standard, Leslie Howard being outstanding. But the film record of the third Test match at Adelaide, though short, is one of the main attractions of a good programme. It shows, ak no other medium can, exactly what qualities of Garwood's bowling led to the muchdiscussed Test "incidents," and gives an opportunity of seeing exactly how Oldfleld and Woo-Jfull were injured. Among the other supports is an unusually interesting display of feats on the, high trapeze.
