" iVIEN OF STEEL." For the first timo. in "-Men of Stee!," the British film which will begin on Saturday at the Crystal, the British Bteel industry has been used aa a background for a dramatic story. "Written by Douglas Newton and Edward Knoblocli, the story tolls of a youiiK steel worker who invents a now steel and eventually rises until he becomes managing director of the very works in which ho bepan his career. "Men of Steel" is the first genuino attempt on tho part of a British director to show something on the screen of one of England's foremost industries. The second feature will be "Water Gipsies," adapted from A. P. Herbert's novel of canal life, which introduces for tho first timo in pictures tho charm and romance of England's picturesque canals aud barges. Box plans aro. at The Bristol.
