WRECKING A MEETING.

Boos (Coalition Party leader) and General Jan Smuts (leader #f the Booth Afriean Party). Mr Boob'« meeting at Bloemfontein, at which 5000 were present, wa* completely wrecked by Goveraißtfit tupporters, and an ugly situation developed, Mr Boo* being smuggled away under police protection. A crowd of 3000 surged around the hotel where Mr Boot was staying, and was kept *t bay by the police, but Mr Boos eeored at great personal triumph when he appeared a* the balcony, quelled the • diatnrbeaee, and secured a vote of confidence.
