NO QUESTION OP CONFERENCE AS YET(USWBD IKSSS A!jaO'J[4TiOM—Bf fXpCT&W. TELr,QB*¥H—COFTOPST-) IvONOPN, Pecemher 20(Questioned in the House of Conimous regarding disarmament, Captain R. A. Eden, Parliamentary Under-! Secretary for Foreign Affairs, referred tp the resolution of the J)isarmai}ient Conference yi'hicb invited the Powers which wero parties to the Washington and London naval treaties to confer, and stated t)iat conversations had accordingly been taking place, and further efforts had x recently been made by the British and American delegations to discover a solution of the out-? standing difficulties. The conversations would continue, but there was no question at present of holding a meeting of these Powers. No decision- had yet been taken as to holding another meeting of the five Powers who recently conferred at Geneva on the work of the Disarmament Conference.
