JUBILEE DINNER. MEMORIAL TO EDGAR WALLACE. (PROM OtJR OWW CORRESPONDENT.) LONDON, November 1. The London Press Club celebrated its jubilee last Saturday evening, when a message from the King was read wishing the members "a, very happy evenLord Riddell, in the presence of Mrs Wallace, unveiled an oak <*air--a memorial to Edgar Wallace # In the middle of the back of the chair is the monogram of Edgar Wallace in gold «,d on either side of it are horses' heads. In addition to a coat of arms ... the crests of the two regiments m which Wallace served. Lord Riddell paid tribute to Edgar Wallace, and Mrs Wallace replied. . To propose the health of the Press was like proposing the health of the world, the flesh, and the devil. (Laughter.)
