REGENT THEATRE.

" SENTIMENTAL BLOKE." "The Sentimental BJokc," Australia's first real effort to enter -whole-heartedly into the kinema realm, will have its first Christchurch screening at the Regent Theatre tomorrow, and it can be termed an admirable initial effort. The picture has a distinctive atmosphere. It is redolent of the sunshine and the bright characteristics of Australian life. It effervesces with humour, and the slang is a refreshing change from that in American dialogue. The philosophies of O. J. Dennis, almost wholly characterised by wit, but sometimes by pathos, are exceptionally well emphasised in "Tho Sentimental Bloke." "Six Hours to Live" is at present showing at tho Regent Theatre.
