The reconstructed Eden Bridge, connecting England and Scotland at Carlisle, vas opened last month. Monsieur Louis Piston, known as the cloven of Press photographers m Europe, lias been promoted by the French Government to Officer ot the Lesion of Honour. H'is experience goes back 45 years. He attended the Coronation of King George and photographed their Majesties on their jouruev home from the Delhi Durbar. He was the only photographer at the assassination of President Doumer who did not get a picture. This was because, he smashed his camera on the head of Gorguloff, the assassin.
