ORDER PLACED FOR FOUR AEROPLANES.
'; -♦ I THREE FOR AERO CLUBS. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEOEAM.) WELLINGTON, November 22. Orders for four aeroplanes, three for aero clubs and one for the Defence Department, have been placed by the Government. For the clubs they are de Haviland Moths, a type similar to those already in use. The Air Force machine is to be a modern Fairey, to bo based at Hobsunvillo lor use in naval co-operation work. The club machines are tor JNtnv ■ iiymouth, Marlborough, and Southland. In making the announcement, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister for Defenee expressed regret that the Government could not do more for the clubs, but finances were very limited, and the Government was doing its best in the circumstances.
