BETTER GOVERNMENT WANTED.
POLITICS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. (UNITED PBKSa ASSOCIATION—BY BLBCTaiC TRMJORAPH— COPYIVtOHT.) VANCOUVER, September 7. Tbe premier of British .Columbia, Mr S. F. Tolmic, issued a statement at Victoria to-day, favouring the establishment of a Union Government composed of men who, regardless of otlicr considerations, appear to be able to render the best service to the State and along the lines of tho National Government in England, as the best method of meeting present conditions.
