ITALIAN BANDIT.
A VOW OF VENGEANCE. (tjmit.d press association- -uy electric TELEGRAPH —COPVSIOHT.) (Received August 19th, 5.5 p.m.) ROME, August 19. When the brigand Acciardi saw his wife fall under a fusihide of shots during an encounter with gendarmes he vowed vengeance. He carried her body fcr miles, and has since murdered ten people. The police have now found nailed to a tree in Sila forest a list, signed by Acciardi, and written in blood, of the names of 15 persons, including those already slain. The body of his wife was found near the tree. Four hundred soldiers ii.ro now combing the foreit for Acciardi.
