GUNMEN IN ARGENTINA. TWO SPECTATORS KILLED. (UKJTED PRESS ASSOCIATION-!'? ELECTRIC TELEGRAM —COrTBIGHI.) (Received August 19th, 7.55 p.m.) LA PLATA (Argentine), August 18. Five gunmen robbed four bank messengers of £2OOO in broad daylight in the centre of the city and escaped by motor-car alter firing a volley into hostile spectators, killing two and woundTho bank messengers had walked 100 yards unmolested when two violent motor collisions at the nearest corner caused general confusion, during the robbery was accomplished. Jhe bandits dashed away while their accomplices held back the traffic waving a red danger flag.
