Thd Federal ' steamer Somerset, which has loaded Homewards to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, was to clear' Bluff yesterday for Ijondon, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Dakar. ISLAND FRUIT STEAMERS. The Kurotu, which arrived at Auckland from Nukualofa last Sunday night, left there again on Thursday for Newcastle and Sydney to load for Fiji. She is to leave Sydney for Suva on August 26th, and Suva for Auckland direct with Fiji fruit on September 7th. The Waipalii is scheduled to leave Auckland for Suva and Apia on September 3rd, and from Apia the vessel will proceed to Nukualofa to load Tongan fruit for Auckland. She will leave Nukualofa for Auckland direct on September 16th. TRANS-PACIFIC SERVICE. The following are the movements of the tTnion Company's cargo steamers in the trans-Pacific service: Waihemo—Left Auckland yesterday, due Napier August 21st, Wellington August 24th, Lvttelton August 26th, Dunedin August 27th, Bluff August 28th, Melbourne September 3rd.
