SPREYDON BURGESSES.
At the last meeting of the Sprcydon Burgesses' Association, Mr I. Skelton presided over a good attendance of members. A complaint was received of tlie bad state of certain footpaths in tho district, especially Stonebridge street, and it was decided to draw the attention Of the Town Clerk to tho matter. Mr D. Sykes, of the Tramway Board, attended to explain the position which he had taken up with regard to tho proposed installation of one-man ears, which,was approved. A discussion took place on the action of the Heathcote County Council and Mr Ell's wall, and tho protest of the committee was approved.
