OBITUARY.
MR M. HARNETT. The death occurred on Saturday, at Auckland, of Mr Maurice Harnett, at the age of 80. Owing to ill-health, Mr Harnett left Kaikoura for Auckland about 11 years ago, and remained in that eity. He went to Kaikoura 49 years ago, and engaged in farming pursuits. His genial personality won him many friends, and he was held in high esteem by all with whom he came in contact. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs Currie (Woodville) and Mrs W. Burrell (Kaikoura), and one son, Mr Frank Harnett (Glentunnel). Mr John Harnett (Hapuku) is a brother,, and Mrs J. Kirby (Kaikoura) a sister of Mr Harnett.

The death is reported of Mr Justice Walter Edmonds, a former Judge of the Industrial Court of Arbitration, also of the District Court, aged 76 years.
