President Hoover announced on Friday tbat he was ready to call a general conference of business and industrial loaders to seek united action on a wide front toward economic recovery, the date to bo decided on Monday. The President said that the conference would engage in a general discussion aimed at loosening credit, speeding the movement of agricultural commodities into consumption, eliminating slum districts, and stimulating railway replacement and repairs.
