FORMER MINISTER QUESTIONED. (Received August 12th, 8.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 12. At the mechanical hare enquiry to* day, M. The Royal Commissioner said he was satisfied that Davidson was not implicated. Davidson created mirth when he said Swindell had been introduced to him at the Stadium one night as "Judge" Swindell. He believed he came from Chicago originally. Mr Justice James had introduced him as "Judge" Swindell, and he had concluded that he was a man of some repute.
