COLLIE DOG CLUBS' ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF DELEGATES. A meeting of the Canterbury Collie Dog Clubs' Association was held last evening, Mr C. A. Parker presiding. Delegates from practically all the Canterbury clubs with the exception of Methven, which is not affiliated, wero present. It was decided to write to the secretary of the South Island Association requesting him to write to the various Marlborough, Nelson, and West Coast clubs to induce them to affiliate with the South Island Association. At present, it was said, the northern clubs were unable to compete in competitions under the auspices of affiliated clubs, and it was most desirable in the interests of the associations that this bo remedied. It was decided to hold the Canterbury championships on the grounds of Mr R. M. Morten at Tai Tapu. The chairman and secretary were authorised to compile a set of rules for the association, and to submit them at the association's next meeting. It was decided to approach the Can-: terbury A. and P. Association with a suggestion that a dog trial be held at tho next show.
