SHIPPING NOTES. The Orepuki, which put into liyttelton on Thursday night for shelter, resumed her voyage to E-unedin at 11.25 p.m. on Saturday. The Storm is to be dispatched to-day for ■Wellington and Wanganui. The Alexander is now due hero to-morrow from Tarakohe, and will load for Nelson, Mapua, Morueka, Westport, and Oreymouth. The John is to arrive here to-morrow from Timaru. She is to take in cargo for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato. ... . The Kaitoke is to complete loading here to-day for Auckland, and is to soil for that port direct. The Ruahine is to leave Lyttelton to-day for New Plymouth to complete discharge and to commence loading. The Gale was due last night from Wellington, and is to sail to-day with cargo for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Wingatui is timed to arrive here tomorrow from Auckland, Portland, and Wei- . lington, and is to Bail in the evening for Dunedin and Timaru. The Totara is due here on Friday from Timaru to load for New Plymouth. The Waikouaiti is expected here on Thursday from Timaru to discharge cargo from Newcastle, Sydney, and Hobart. The Opihi is an expected arrival on Friday from Westport with coal. She sails later for Dunedin, and is due'back, via Oamaru and Timaru, on August 17th, to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kini is to arrive here on Wednesday from Gisborne io complete discharge of coal from Westport. . . . . . The tanker New Zealand Is reported to have left San Pedro on July 21st for Sydney. Melbourne, and New Zealand. After discharging a cargo of ?.* Auckland, New Plymouth, and Wanganui, the Bank Line motor-ship Forresbank left Wanganui on Tuesday for Queensland, to load raw sugar for Montreal. The Shaw, Savill motor-ship Taranaki arrived at New Plymouth on Thursday morning from Mackay, Queensland, to commence her Homeward loading.
