BANKS ADVANCE MONEY FOR WORK. (CEITED TRESS ASSOCIATION'-—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received July 27th, 5.5 p.m.) ST. JOHN'S (Newfoundland), July 26. A syndicate of Canadian banks today announced that they would advance the 100,000 dollars required to finance a programme of work to relieve the unemployed.
