Lady Stott (Mips Valerie Ton nun t) has engaged as a inaitl a girl from tho mills, Vhyllis Livsey (Miss iJorotliy Magluness), who had previously been slightly injured in a motorinr accident by Lionel, imd whose home Lionel nad visited. Phyllis's admirer, Tom Uden (A. J. Kuyraer), an out-au-out revolutionary, finds that jealousy of Lionel Stott is added to bla already violent hatred of the Stott family. Phyllls's brother Jack (It. M. Young) is a follower of Bdon's crowd of rioters, against tho .very strong wishes of Uia fattier and mother (Miss Winifred Smith and G, A. Wortlilngton). As tho result of an attack by rioters on the Stott home. Phyllis is shot dead while trying to protect Lionel, who also subsequently succumbs as the result of injuries received.
Next week another evening of one-eci plays will be pitesmted in accordance with tho Society's programme of staging fully-pro-duced plays at every alternate meeting throughout the session.- Those selected for next Wednesday are "Pan in Pimlico." by Helen Simpson, and " Cloud-break." by A. O. Roberts.
