Famous as a -wartime armed merchantman, the Omarder Carma*ia (20 000 tons) has been sold for breaking up for £20,000. She was tho fivst armed merchantman to attack .and sink a Gentian vessel of superior soeed and armament, the Cap Trafalgar, during the war.
