THE LATE MR SAMUEL GRIFFITHS.
■ * ■ THE FUNERAL. The funeral of Mr Samuel Griffiths, who died as tho result of a motor accident last Saturday, took placo at the Woodend Methodist Cemetery, and was largely attended. ,The llev, H. Ford conducted the service at the church and at the graveside, and was assisted by.the Rev. S. Henderson, of Rangiora, "and tho Rev. 0. ( Burnet, of Kaiapoi. Brothers from the Loyal Woodend Lodge of Oddfellows, were in attendance, and P.G. Brother J. Cook, of the Rangiora Lodge, read tho service. The pall* bearers were members of the Lodge, ot which Mr Grimtjis had been a member for the past forty years. They P..G. Brother A. Quinn, P.ti. Brother i-L Little, P.G. Brother f. Morrw*. P.G. Brother A. Smith, Brother C. Morris, and Brother J. Caspidy.
