Seas (New Zealand -waters) —Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasmart Sea—Light and variable winds gradually tending to northerly; seas smooth to.moderate. Weather —Fine generally with- cold night temperatures.

Auckland —The W6ather yesterday was fine and sunny, -with a south-east breeze. The barometer rose to 30.15 and remained steady. "Wellington—After rain overnight the weather 1 yesterday was fine with a light northerly blowing. Dunedin—The weather was flue but very cold yesterday. A light breeze from the south-west was blowing. The barometer had little movement and registered 30.20. Forecast. General Situation—Anti-cyclonic conditions have again become established over the New Zealand area, but a slight low-pressure wave is passing to the southwards. Winds —Variable, with light to moderate westerly to southerly. prevailing.
