A plea of guilty to charges of stealing from the Bluff Borough Council the sum of £152 17b 5d was entered by Thomas James, married; aged 30, in the Magistrate's Court this- morning. He was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court, -where he appeared this afternoon. A sentence of one year's imprisonment with hard labour was imposed.
