The winning .crop (Lincolnshire Reds) wks grown on land which had evidently been specially well Sowing was dono in N 3eveii-incb rowa; the crop was very even and. well grown and the growth of lop #-as pliMiomM!*!. , Tfcia iatter fact was largely responsible for the exceptionally high yield weight. Of the green feed crops, strikes were in Gome cases rather uneven owing to dry conditions, but on the whole growth wa? good, with no vary marked difference - .among a number entries. . :
