Mr E. K. Low, D.5.0., is joining the Maori as chief engineer in place of Mr W. Is. Aimers, who transfers to the Tam&hine. Mr C. E. Stewart is joining the 'i'ofua aa fourth engineer in place of Mr J. Miller. Mr L. K. McMurrich is now chief engineer on the Maunganui, having relieved Mr K.. Sinclair for holidays. Mr X. McCoig has rejoined the R.M.S. Monowai an chief engines!. Messrs Pike, Aitchison, and Vartlia, late «6«ond, fourth, and fifth engineers respectively on the Tofuu, are on holiday leave. Captain J. L. B. Hunter retains command <4 the Rangitata, which arrived at Wellington on' Saturday from London, and his '.fficers are: Chief, Mr J. S. Oxnard; efceond, Mr L. Griffiths; third, Mr D. H. Having completed discharge of her London cargo, the Shaw, Savill liner lonic left Wellington early on Saturday afternoon for Bluff, where she arrived on Monday morning to commence her horfieward loading. She will later complete at Timaru, Port Chalmers, and Wellington, and is to clear Wellington finally on May 4th for Southamptor and London, via Panama and Kingston. PORT ADELAIDE LOADING. To commence her homeward loading, the C. and D. Line stoamer Port Adelaide arrived at Nelson early on Sunday morning from Sydney. She is to leave there agair to-morrow for Wanganui and Wellington, tc complete, and is to clear Wellington finallj on May ,Ist for London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. RARANGA LEAVES SYDNEY. The Rarariga. lelt Sydney on Saturdaj mcining for Oamaru, where slie is due to morrow to commence" her Homeward loading its New Zealand. MAHAN A LEAVES LONDON. Advice has been received by the Shaw Savill Company that the Mahana left Lon don last Thursday for Suva, Port Chalmers and Lyttelton. She is due at Suva on Ma; 21st, and: at Port Chalmers on May 28th.
