j CHANGE IN COMMAND. 'PRESS ASSOCIATION TET.EORAM.) WELLINGTON, April 17. A naval ceremony on the occasion of the arrival of Commodore F. Burges Watson was observed on H.M.S. Diomede, H.M.S. Veronica, and 11.M.5. Laburnum to-day. Commodore Watson's pennant was hoisted on the Veronica morning, and the new commodore visited the Diomede, being received by RearAdmiral Geoffrey Blake. Commodore inspected tho division, afterwards returning to the Veronica. RearAdmiral Geoffrey Blake. Commodore of the division, afterwards being rowed ashore by officers of tho Diomede. At sunset tho flag of Rear-Admiral Blake was struck. To-morrow Commodore Watson will have his flag hoisted on the Diomede, and salutes will be fired in honour of the departure of RearAdmiral Blake and tho arrival of tho new commodore.
