THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish, which left Dunedin on February 11th for New York and Halifax, arrived at Halifax on Friday morning. NORTHUMBERLAND DUE TONIGHT. The Northumberland, en route from Glasgow in ballast, has reported that she expects to arrive in the stream at Lyttelton to-night, and will berth to-morrow to commence her Homeward loading in New Zealand. TARANAKI COMPLETING. The Shaw-Savill motor-vessel Taranaki is now completing her Homeward loading at Auckland, and is timed to sail from that port finally on Monday for London and the Continent, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. STEAMER PUTS BACK. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company's steamer Gale, which left Lyttelton at 5 p.m. yesterday for Dunedin, put back on reaching j the Heads owing to a main bearing becoming heated.
