FENDALTON CLUB. The Fendalton Swimmins Club's annual carnival, which was pottponed from March sth on account of inclement weather, will be held this Saturday, March 19th. The programme which had been arranged will remain the same, many swimmers of note competing. NEW FIGURES FOR 150 YARDS. (PJEES3 ASSOCIAIIOX TELEaBAIt.) AUCKLAND. March IS. : At the swimming carnival at, the Tepid. Baths to-night G. Bridson established a new reoord for 150 yards, covering the distance in lmin 31 2-ssec. This, lowered the figures standing to his' own credit by 1 4-ssec, and also, beat by 3-ssec the Australian recotd established by K. Grier in 1928.
