Largo consignments of all classes of poultry came forward at our auction sales on .Wednesday and Saturday. There is an excellent demand for White Leghorn Yearling hens and pullets, which are coming forward freely and are, easily disposed of at g»od prices. There was a good attendance of the public at both sales, and, with reasonable prices ruling for boilers, ducks, and ducklings, a large crowd followed Saturday's sale right through. Chickens have been coming forward in increased supply, there being some very choice lots offering. Present indications point to the hardening of prices shortly. The demand ■is improving, and the market, so far, this month has not been over supplied as it wsb during January. Eggs: Reduced supplies have resulted in the strengthening of the market another twopence par dozen. Red Comb brand machine graded, tested, guaranteed fresh eggs:—First grade Is 6d, socond grade Is 5d per dozen.
