Christchurch Gas remained unaltered: at 25s 6d, and there were further unsupported sellers at.that price. New Zealand Breweries recovered to 2os yd, market closing 25s 2d buyers, 25s Od sellers. British Tobaccos had dealings at 2(3s and 26s Od, and more were wauted at 26s,*sellers at 26s Id. Buyers of Henry ,'Jones Coop. shares moved up to 23s 9d without attracting sellers. Mt. Lyells, on the morning call, changed hands at 19s Od and 19s Bd, and on the afternoon call at 19s 3d, sellers staying in at the lowest price; buyers at 19s.
