WELLINGTON, February *• It is understood that the Broadcasting Board has decided to obtain the best possible expert advice as to the proper method of obtaining Dominion* wide coverage. The investigators will be asked -to • recommend. alternative i schemes as a basis lor future develop- ! ment, consistent with the- likely £nani cial resources of the Board. At present the Board is not m *■ | position to know its immediate capital commitments, as -the. purchase price. to ! the ' Government, of the Broadcasting Company's assets has'not yet'been determined. The Board has come to the conclusion , that the B station question is inseparable from the larger one-ot coverage, and can therefore only be adequately dealt with after the receipt of expgrt advice. . The Board hopes to, be, able to indicate its attitude toward B stations m about a month's time.
