The story is based on tho marriage between a rich young wife and an unambitious husband whose best qualification is his ability to play football. The matrimonial venture undertaken at tbe outset against the wishes of the girl's parents does not prosper immediately. There are many pitfalls r.long the matrimonial path, and these young people fall heavily into every one.
