V CHRISTCHL'RCH SPOUTS CLUB, Al a meeting of tl.e Executive Committee of tlic Chrislchurch Sports Club there were present: Messrs C. H. Taylor, jun. (chairman), R. H. Livingstone, ,T. D.' Hutchison, A. McDonald-Smith, and K. McGillivray. The chairman, i„ reviewing the operations of the club for the season just closed, said that it had been one of the most successful experienced for many years past, largely owing to the club concentrating almost wholly upon amateur contests. The majority of the contestants had entered the rin- well equipped in ringcraft, -and as a result all of the tournaments held had proved decidedlv interesting. The high standard reached by many ot the contestants reliected very creditably upon the efficiency of the instructors and trainers, and the enthusiasm and keennets ot the pupils.
