The ex-Kaiser commenced the Christmas festivities at Doom by presenting firewood, which he chopped himself, to 80 families on the estate. The ex-Kaiser and members of his suite stood at a table in his gardenand handed out gifts, winch included food and clothing. His own festivities vul' be verv quiet. He will have a Chris - mas tree, which he popped, .and a Christmas service will be held m private chapel. ■
