In the Sheffield Shield match, "Victoria, second innings,, scored 273 (Barnett 94, Smith 47). Thurlow took three wickets for 69, Oxenham four for 64, and Hurwood three for 55. Victoria won by 22 runs. -At Adelaide, New South Wales, second innings, made 205 (Hird 34, O'Reilly, not out. 31). Tobin took four wickets for> 63. South Australia, second innings, scored 160 (Starr 33, Waite 38). New South Wales won by 117 runs.
