PIGEON FLYING.
▼ CHRISTCHURCH PREMIER CLUB. The Christchurch Premier Pigeon Club conducted a race from Upper Hutt on Saturday last. The stationmastcr liberated 134 birds, represents 20 owners, at 9.30 a.m., and with good conditions prevailing the birds put , ra very fast times. The winning bird, owned by Mr W. Drury, flew the 21b miles 933 yards in 4hrs 51min 4sec. Results:—
